PhD students often face significant pressure to make progress in their research, yet the path to success can be long and uncertain. Efforts may not yield immediate results, leading to frustration and self-doubt. This roundtable brings together junior and senior scholars to discuss the challenges of managing long-term goals, overcoming procrastination, and maintaining motivation when progress feels slow. How can students manage their expectations and stay motivated during setbacks? Join us as we explore practical strategies for managing expectations and building resilience in the face of these common challenges.
