If your embassy/consulate instructs you to submit a tourist visa, please follow these steps:
Tourist Visa
1. Download this welcome letter provided by the Thai government for conference attendees. Have this travel document available as you travel into Thailand.
2. Apply for a Tourist Visa at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. If you scroll to the middle of the page, it provides step-by-step instructions on how to apply online.
These are the required documents you will need (please check relevant embassy/consulate-general website for specifically required documents):

- Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
- Photograph taken within the last six months
- Document indicating current location
- Travel booking confirmation
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand
Number of Entry: Single
Validity of Visa: 3 Months
If your embassy/consulate instructs you to submit a Tourist MICE visa, please follow these steps:
Tourist MICE Visa
Participants of MICE industry (Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibitions) supported by TCEB (Thailand Convention Exhibition Bureau):
1. Download this welcome letter provided by the Thai government for conference attendees. Have this travel document available as you travel into Thailand.
2. Apply for a Tourist Visa at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. If you scroll to the middle of the page, it provides step-by-step instructions on how to apply online.
These are the required documents you will need (please check relevant embassy/consulate-general website for specifically required documents):

- Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
- Photograph taken within the last six months
- Document indicating current location
- Travel booking confirmation
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand
- Letter from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)
Number of Entry: Single
Validity of Visa: 3 Months
INVITATION LETTER REQUEST
If you need an invitation letter which extends an invitation to ICIS 2024, please follow the steps below:
- Please note that your AIS membership should be current.
- Complete the Invitation Letter Request Form
- The AIS Registrar will issue the invitation letter within two business days upon receipt of the completed invitation letter request form.
Please note: The AIS Office will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving holiday. All requests during this time will be addressed on Monday, December 2.
VISA LETTER REQUEST
If you need a visa letter for your visa application to attend ICIS, please follow the steps below:
- Please note that your AIS membership should be current.
- Register and complete your payment for your conference registration.
- Complete the Visa Letter Request Form and also attach your ICIS 2024 conference registration confirmation.
The AIS Registrar will issue the visa letter within two business days upon receipt of the completed visa letter request form.
Please note: The AIS Office will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving holiday. All requests during this time will be addressed on Monday, December 2.
