The Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems in the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University houses two unique programs: Business Analytics and Information Systems Management. No matter which degree you pursue, you’ll learn how to leverage and manage information to solve real world problems and improve business decisions. Our Business Analytics undergrad program is ranked 12th per the US News Ranking of Public Institutions. We have a unique experiential learning program that exposes students to real world industry problems through a Capstone project as well as an annual Analytics case competition. We offer a certificate in this program. In our Information Systems undergrad program students will receive training that will help them lead organizational change projects by transforming and improving business processes. Students will also master the design and creativity of new information systems, as well as innovative digital products and services. Our master’s program will provide students with the technical knowledge to lead teams in analyzing, designing, deploying, maintaining, and managing information systems. We offer both virtual and in-class instruction to accommodate students’ needs. We offer a doctorate in this program where students will gain a strong technical grounding in business processes, emphasizing the use of information technology to facilitate business operations and enhance business performance.
